For more than 40 years, this little brick clinic on the corner has been part of the Washington Park community—a place where generations of families have brought pets for care, comfort, and good health. In 2024, the practice entered a new chapter under local, women-owned leadership. Though under new ownership, they plan to carry on its long-loved neighborhood roots, while thoughtfully elevating the medicine, services, and experience pets receive today.

Now reintroducing the clinic as The Neighborhood Vets, formerly Washington Park Veterinary Clinic, the team is investing deeply in modern diagnostics, expanded treatment capabilities, and a more accessible approach to everyday and same-day care. The goal: a welcoming, community-grounded practice with the level of medicine that pet parents feel confident trusting.
