Maya has worked in veterinary medicine since 2016 and has always known it is her passion. She is certified in low-stress handling and is dedicated to helping patients feel as comfortable as possible during their visits. Originally from southern Texas, Maya now enjoys spending her weekends in the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creating art, and tiring out her dog, Laurel. She also shares her home with two cats, Bazil and Juniper, and several fish tanks.
